Cookie Script: Google Consent Mode v2

This article explains how to activate Google Consent Mode v2 when your Cookie Script is set up by Sharefox Support.

Google Consent Mode v2 is activated through Google Tag Manager. If you don't have Google Tag Manager set up in your shop you can take a look at this article: https://help.sharefox.no/article/184-gtm-events-integration

Step 1 - Create a new tag in Google Tag Manager

Open Google Tag Manager and choose "Tags"# in the left side menu

Create a new tag by clicking on "New" at the top right.

For "Tag type" open the Community Template Gallery at the top right.

Search for "cookiescript" to find the correct template

Click on the template name, and choose "Add to workspace"

You should now see this window.

Now you need to find your Banner Code URL ...

Choose the "Marketing" tab and scroll down until you find "Cookies Script"

Copy your Cookie Script "src" value from the field.

Go back to Tag Manager.

In the "Banner code URL" field, type in ...

https:

... and paste the code you copied from Sharefox right after the "https:"

The full code should now look something like this:

You can keep the default settings and scroll down to "Triggering"

Click on it, and choose "Consent Initialization - All pages"

You should now see this:

Click on "Save" and you are done!

Optional:

When you are done you can ask Sharefox Support to validate your new tag within Cookie Script.
