Product Managment

Your website comes preloaded with several Products added, as examples. Initially you will have to fill in your business offerings, and ongoingly you will manage your products, adding, removing or changing Product information. This section describes how.3 product types: main products, accessories and consumables

Sharefox accommodates three types of products: main products, accessories and consumables. This is how they are defined:

  • Main products - They can be rented out on a stand-alone basis. Displayed to customers on the main Products page. They are tracked by the Sharefox inventory module item by item, checked for availability, reserved during customer bookings and tracked over the entire delivery lifecycle.
  • Accessories - Complementary items, usually not meant to be rented out on their own. They are tracked over the entire delivery lifecycle just like main products. They provide good upsale potential. Visible to customers on the Products page / Accessory tab or on a relevant Product page.

  • Consumables - Complementary items, sold to the customers. They provide good upsale potential. Visible to customers on the Products page / Accessory tab or on a relevant Product page.

How do I browse existing products?

Selecting Products in the admin left menu will open the Products module and display the list of existing products, which the user can easily search, sort or filter by product type. The page will look like this:
