How to change your page title (static text)

This article specifically explains how you can change the title of your page, but this method also works for other texts in your shop. Anything that turns green when you hover over it in "Static text"-mode can be edited this way. You can click on links and pictures to navigate around your shop, to find the text you want to edit. If it doesn't turn green it can't be edited this way.

Note: If you have a special/custom design set up by a Sharefox developer, please ask support before you start making changes to other texts than your page title. It could break the custom design.

Let's get started

1. Log in to admin and go to "Settings" > "Static text".

   The top of the page will turn bright green, and below it you will see your store's front page.

   
   

2. Hold your cursor over the text you want to change.

   A green box with the words "Edit text" will pop up. Click on it.

3. A pop-up window will open. Here you can edit the text.

4. When you are done editing, click on "Publish" in the upper right corner to save your changes to your page.

   
   
5. Click on "Exit" to exit editing mode.

Note: You may find that some of the changes you made in the editor do not save to the shop. This might happen for instance if you add empty lines of text to push elements further down on the page, or if you edit in html. If it doesn't work we have probably blocked it, to make sure you don't invertedly break the design on your page. Please ask support if you need help.
