Payments: How to set up Klarna Checkout payments?

Klarna Checkout is one of the leading Nordic online payments platforms. Setting up Klarna Checkout payments on your Sharefox website requires you to have (1) a Klarna Checkout account which will be used to process payments from your website and (2) your Sharefox site configured for Klarna Checkout payments.

1. What do I need to do in Klarna as preparation?

First, you have to sign-up on Klarna to create the merchant account for Klarna Checkout and submit your business details. After you complete the registration you will receive a notification from Klarna. Please note an approval process is involved. 

After your account is approved you can sign-in and go to Settings. You will see the keys of your merchant account in the following screen:

Once you get these keys: Username (UID) and Password, you can proceed to the next step.

2. What do I need to do in Sharefox a s preparation?

Now that you have the keys you can reach our Support team by email on support@sharefox.no and share with us the keys and the currency that you will use to accept payments. Our support will take care of further configurations.
