Payments: How to set up Stripe payments?

Stripe is one of the best global online payments platforms. Setting up Stripe payments on your Sharefox website requires you to have (1) a Stripe account which will be used to process payments from your website and (2) your Sharefox site configured for Stripe payments.

1. What do I need to do in Stripe as preparation?

First you have to sign-up on Stripe to create the account. During the account activation process you will have to submit key relevant information about your business. Based on your business sector and country of operation, Stripe will ask you for more information if needed. Check these links for more information:

After creating your Stripe account, in the Developers section, API keys subsection you can find the integration keys of your environment (see screenshot below), required for Sharefox integration. They can be either test or live environment keys. By using the top right "Test mode" toggle button, you can switch between test / live keys.

Once you get these keys (Publishable key and Secret key), you can proceed to the next step.

2. What do I need to do in Sharefox as preparation?

Now that you have the Stripe integration keys you can reach our Support team by email on support@sharefox.no and share with us the keys and the currency that you will use to accept payments. Our support will take care of further configurations.
